Description

Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, our Asteria Long Wall Light brings a clean, considered geometry to the wall. A round wall plate anchors a long straight arm that reaches out to a flat circular disc shade, measuring 15cm in diameter and standing 9cm high. Because this version is hardwired, no cable is visible on the outside of the fitting, so the line of the arm stays uninterrupted from plate to shade. We finish it in warm brass with a Nuance Olive shade, a soft, muted green that reads as calm rather than loud, and we think that pairing gives the fitting a quiet warmth against both pale and darker walls.

The long arm gives this wall light a useful reach, extending to 44.6cm from the wall, which lets us throw light where you actually need it. That makes it a natural choice beside a bed, flanking a mirror, or above a reading chair. Inside sits a built-in 12W LED panel that produces 500 lumen at a warm 2700K, and because the lamp is dimmable, we can take it from a working brightness down to something softer for the evening. With a CRI of 91, colours in the room stay true, and the panel is rated for at least 50000 lighting hours, so it should serve for years before you give it a second thought. It weighs just 804g.
