Our Asteria pendant keeps things simple: a plain flat circular disc with a smooth unbroken top and a straight shallow rim, suspended from a slim central stem. Underneath sits a single flat diffuser that spreads the light evenly, so there is no glare when you glance up. This Mini version is compact at just 31cm in diameter and 3.3cm high, weighing only 1.6kg, which makes it easy to place above a small dining spot, a kitchen island or a reading corner. The clean lines let it sit quietly in a room without drawing too much attention to itself.

The colour here is Nuance Orange, a warm and gently muted tone that we think works well against both pale and darker walls. It pairs with a Steel Top for a soft metallic finish across the disc. We paired this with a built-in 14W LED panel that gives out 900 lumen at a warm 3000K, with a CRI of 83 for natural-looking colour rendering. Rated for around 25000 light hours, it saves you swapping bulbs, and it works with an external dimmer if you want to soften the mood in the evening.
