Description

A plain flat circular disc with a smooth unbroken top is what defines our Asteria pendant light, and its clean geometry is what we return to again and again. The shallow rim is straight and low, giving the shade a slim, level profile rather than a domed or layered one. Beneath sits a single flat diffuser, held on a slender central stem, so the light falls softly downwards. Finished in Nuance Orange with a Black Top, this Mini version brings a warm, muted colour that we think settles happily into a kitchen, a hallway or above a reading nook.

At Mini size the disc measures 31cm in diameter and just 3.3cm in height, weighing a light 1.6kg, so it hangs neatly without dominating a smaller room. It is made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and it arrives with a 2.7m black textile cord and a matching metal canopy, which keeps the drop tidy from ceiling to shade. Assembly takes around ten minutes, and should you fancy a change later, you can swap the metal cover of the lamp to give the same pendant a fresh look in minutes.
