Description

Our Asteria pendant keeps things simple with a plain flat circular disc, its smooth unbroken top giving way to a straight shallow rim and a single flat diffuser tucked underneath. The whole shade hangs from a slim central stem, so the profile stays low and clean rather than domed or layered. In this Medium size it measures 43cm across and just 4cm tall, a broad but shallow shape that sits neatly over a dining table, a kitchen island or a reading corner. We chose the Nuance Olive colour for its soft, muted depth, a green that settles into a room without shouting for attention.

The Brass Top finishes the disc with a warm metallic cover, and one of the things we like most is that this cover can be swapped later. If you fancy a change further down the line, you can add new life to your Asteria in minutes simply by changing the metal cover, so the pendant grows with your space rather than dating in it. Inside, a 16W LED panel is built in that gives 1300 lumen at 3000K with a CRI of 83, warm enough for everyday living and rated for around 25000 light hours. It works with an external dimmer, so you can bring the level down for quieter evenings.

The Asteria is made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and it arrives with a 2.7m black textile cord and a metal canopy for the ceiling. At 2.5kg it is easy to handle, and assembly takes around 10 minutes. It is certified CE, UKCA for indoor use, IP2X and cETLus, and we back it with a 10-year warranty. To keep the matt olive looking its best, wipe the disc gently with a soft dry cloth. We think it pairs well with pale walls and natural wood.
