A plain flat circular disc sits at the heart of our Asteria pendant, its top smooth and unbroken above a straight shallow rim. Underneath, a single flat diffuser spreads the light, and the whole shade rests on a slim central stem. The Black Top gives the disc a matt darkness that reads cleanly against a ceiling, while the form stays low and quiet rather than showy. This is the Medium size, measuring 43cm across and just 4cm high, so it holds its ground over a table or worktop without crowding the room above it.

The frame is built from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and it arrives with a 2.7m black textile cord and a matching metal canopy. At 2.5kg it feels solid in the hand yet stays easy to hang, and most people find assembly takes around ten minutes.
