Description

The Ashworth is a single wall light with clean lines and an adjustable arm, so you can angle the light where you want it. It measures 193mm high, 158mm wide and projects 224mm from the wall, and weighs just 0.4kg. A single E14 bulb up to 7W sits behind the shade, the light is dimmable, and it works with E14 LED bulbs. The inner shade is painted to match the finish for a neat, co-ordinated look.

The adjustable arm makes the Ashworth a practical choice as a reading light beside a bed or a chair, letting you direct the beam onto a book or across the wall. It also works as a hallway or living-room accent, and being dimmable it moves from a bright task light to a soft glow. Its compact, lightweight body keeps it neat on the wall, so it suits smaller spaces as well as larger rooms.

The metalwork comes in warm antique brass or brushed antique bronze, with a painted inner shade in the same tone. As a Class 2 double insulated fitting it does not need an earth connection, and its IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms. Matching pieces are available in the range for a co-ordinated scheme. To care for it, wipe the metal with a soft dry cloth, and pair it with a dimmable LED bulb and dimmer switch to use the full range of light. Adjust the arm gently to set the angle you need. The painted inner shade throws a warm, focused pool of light, which makes it a genuinely useful reading light rather than only a decorative one.
