Description

This cable set is the starting point for a made-to-suit pendant, pairing an E27 lampholder and shade ring with a height adjustable flex. It lets you add your own easy-fit pendant or fabric shade to build the look you want. Choose polished chrome metalwork with a clear flex and a white lampholder, or an antique brass plate with a black twisted flex and a black lampholder. The 1.5 metre flex adjusts the drop, and the set is dimmable and takes a single E27 lamp on LED.

It suits anyone who wants to choose a shade separately, whether over a dining table, a kitchen island or a bedside. Because the shade is up to you, it slots into modern or classic rooms and adapts as your taste changes; swap the shade later and the pendant feels new again. The clear or twisted flex is a neat detail in its own right, so the set still looks considered even with a simple bare lamp fitted while you settle on a shade.

The metalwork is plated in chrome or antique brass, with a shade ring ready to take a compatible easy-fit shade. The 1.5 metre flex is height adjustable and the set is dimmable when used with a suitable dimmer and lamp. A shade is not included, so pick one from our range to finish the look. Wipe the fitting with a soft, dry cloth. We call this piece the Ashwell, part of a wider range of pendants and shades.
