This floor lamp draws on mid-century design, pairing a matt black shade with an antique brass stem that rises from a white and grey marble base. The stone base gives it weight and a natural, mixed-material look, while the slim brass stem keeps the lines clean. It stands 1450mm tall on a 375mm by 300mm footprint, so it holds its own beside a sofa without spreading too wide. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 10W and runs well on an E27 LED lamp.

The mid-century shape suits a living room, a lounge corner or a study that leans towards a retro or modern look, and the marble base makes it feel considered rather than plain. The matt black shade directs light downward for a reading or side-table pool, while the brass and stone add warmth and texture. At 5.4kg the marble base keeps it steady, so it stays put once you have placed it beside your seating and there is no risk of it tipping.

The base is white and grey marble, the stem is brass plated, and the shade is finished in matt black, so three materials meet in one piece.
