This is an industrial-style task table lamp finished in matt black paint, with an antique brass painted inner shade that warms the light it throws. It stands 471mm tall with an adjustable head, so you can angle the light where you need it. The Ashdon takes a single E14 small screw-fit bulb, and the mix of matt black metalwork and brass detail gives it a smart, workmanlike look.

It suits a home office, desk, study or bedside table where you want focused light for reading, working or close tasks. The adjustable head lets you point the beam onto a book, keyboard or notepad, while the antique brass inner adds a warm tone to the pool of light.
