Arvello Marble Table Lamp - Grey & White Shade

The Arvello is a 490mm table lamp built around a solid grey marble base with natural white veining, topped with a 300mm white PVC drum shade. The base is shaped as a smooth cylindrical column with gently rounded shoulders, joined to the shade by a slim dark metal fitting that keeps the visual transition between stone and fabric quiet. A single E27 lamp socket sits inside the upper assembly and the bulb is sold separately.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side units in living rooms, the Arvello provides ambient light at sitting-eye level rather than directed task lighting. The compact 300mm shade diameter suits a standard 400-450mm bedside table without overhanging, and the 490mm overall height keeps the shade roughly level with a seated reader's shoulder when placed on a 600mm-tall bedside cabinet. A small inline switch on the base flex controls the lamp.

Each marble base shows different veining patterns, mineral inclusions and tonal shifts depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so no two Arvello bases look identical. The honed finish leaves a soft, low-sheen surface that catches light along the white veins without becoming reflective. Combined with the crisp white drum shade, the cool grey marble gives the lamp a quiet weight that settles into Scandinavian, contemporary and minimal interiors without dominating the surface it sits on.

What bulb does the Arvello take?

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K suits bedside and side-table use; the lamp accepts E27 LED, halogen or filament bulbs within the rating shown on the lamp holder.

Is the marble base consistent between lamps?

No. Each base is cut from natural marble, so the veining direction, density and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the stone, not a defect — the grey background and white vein pattern remain consistent in character.

What size table does it suit?

At 490mm tall with a 300mm shade diameter, the Arvello fits standard 400-450mm bedside tables and console tables without overhanging. On a 600mm-tall bedside cabinet, the shade sits roughly at shoulder height for a seated reader.

How is the marble cleaned?

Wipe the base with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household sprays, acidic cleaners (including lemon and vinegar) and abrasive pads, which can etch the honed surface.
