Description

The Arvello is a 600mm round alabaster chandelier built from two stacked tiers of vertical Spanish alabaster panels, held by a circular brass ring frame. Eight G9 lamps sit inside the drum, lighting the stone from within and turning each panel into its own diffuser. The fitting hangs from four slender suspension cables and a compact brushed brass canopy, with an overall body height of 220mm.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands, entrance halls and primary bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m and above, the Arvello sits well above a 1.6-2.2m dining table at a typical 700-800mm drop above the surface. The double-tier arrangement spreads light both outwards through the panel faces and downwards through the open base, giving usable task light over the table as well as ambient glow into the wider room.

Each alabaster panel is cut from solid natural stone and shows its own veining, mineral density and translucency, so the lit drum reads as a band of varying warm tones rather than a uniform glow. The honed surface keeps the stone matt and authentic in feel. The brass ring frame and canopy are finished in a soft white and brass combination, with the warm metal hardware visible at the top edge of each tier where the panels are pinned to the ring.

The 600mm diameter places the Arvello in the larger end of decorative pendant lighting without crossing into oversized territory, making it workable above 1.4-2.4m tables and round dining tables of 1.2-1.6m. The compact 220mm body height keeps the silhouette horizontal rather than dropping deep into the room.
