The Artisan is a single-phase track spotlight built around a textured matte gold cylinder with black internal lining and a matt black mounting bracket. The cylinder body rotates 355° on the track mount and tilts 90° on its internal gimbal, allowing light to be directed onto specific objects, walls or architectural features without re-positioning the track itself. The spotlight accepts a single GU10 bulb up to 12W (sold separately).

Designed for single-phase track systems in retail, gallery, kitchen and living room installations, the Artisan suits environments needing controllable accent lighting without fixed downlights. The 355° rotation covers most of a full circle, making it possible to redirect light as room layouts or displayed objects change. The 90° tilt range covers horizontal through to near-vertical angles, so the same fitting works for wall-washing, object highlighting, or angled task light onto a kitchen worktop.

The matte gold finish on the aluminium cylinder carries a fine cross-hatched texture that diffuses reflections under ambient light, while the black internal lining prevents spill light from escaping through the cylinder walls. The combination gives the fitting a two-tone appearance that pairs with both warm metallics (brass, copper, bronze) and cooler industrial schemes (black steel, concrete, exposed brick). At 14cm projection from the track and 8.2cm width, the Artisan sits visibly on the track without dominating smaller rooms.

What track system does this fit?

The Artisan is designed for single-phase track lighting systems. It will not fit three-circuit or two-circuit track without an adapter. The mounting bracket clips onto standard single-phase track rails used in most residential and commercial track installations.

What bulb does it take?

The spotlight accepts a single GU10 bulb up to 12W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a GU10 LED between 5-7W and 3000K for accent lighting, or a higher-output 10-12W bulb for task lighting in kitchens.

Can the light direction be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The cylinder rotates 355° around the track mount and tilts 90° on its internal gimbal. This allows the light to be redirected onto different objects or surfaces without moving the track itself, making it suitable for galleries or retail displays where items change regularly.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture and should only be used in dry indoor environments. For bathrooms, an IP44-rated or higher spotlight is required.
