Our Around The World range comes in three sizes, and here we have the Large, a pendant lampshade with a White metal top. We stock this size for anyone wanting a bit more presence overhead, whether that is above a dining table or hung low in a hallway. The shape is egg-like rather than round, tapering upwards from its widest point low down and drawn together at a small flat canopy where it meets the ceiling.

What gives it character is the surface. Fine horizontal ribbed bands run across the shade, catching the light in soft lines rather than sitting smooth or fully spherical. Made from steel and glass, it measures 43.4cm in height and 35.4cm in diameter, and weighs 2.8kg, so it holds its own in a larger room without feeling heavy. The White metal top keeps the top edge crisp and pairs happily with pale or neutral schemes.
