Description

Our black metal top gives this pendant a grounded, confident presence, drawing the eye upward while keeping the overall look calm and considered. We chose black because it sits happily in so many rooms, whether you want it to recede against a dark ceiling or stand out against pale plaster. The egg-shaped shade, built from fine horizontal ribbed bands and widest low down, catches the light along each ridge, so the surface never reads as flat or plain. Hung from a small flat canopy, it feels light overhead despite the texture, and we think it brings a quiet warmth to a kitchen island, a hallway or a reading corner.

This is the Medium size, standing 34.4cm tall with a diameter of 27.2cm and weighing 1.6kg, which makes it an easy fit above a dining table or beside a bed without crowding the space. Made from steel and glass, it takes a Max 15W LED E27 bulb, and we would suggest an opal glass bulb for a soft, even glow through the ribbed shade. Please note the bulb is not included. Assembly takes around five minutes, so you can have it up and lit the same afternoon, and we back it with a two-year warranty for peace of mind. It is compatible with E27 fittings.

To keep the ribbed bands looking their best, we recommend a gentle dust with a dry, soft cloth now and then, working along the grooves rather than across them. The black finish wipes clean easily and asks very little of you over time.
