Archer 1 Light Pendant - Grey

The Archer is a 400mm diameter pendant light with a ribbed grey glass dome shade and a single E27 bulb fitting. The glass is moulded with horizontal ridges that run around the full circumference of the shade, creating a textured surface that diffuses light evenly downwards while maintaining a defined silhouette when viewed from below. Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables and in hallways with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Archer provides focused task lighting with a wide downward spread. The 400mm diameter suits surfaces 1.2-1.8m wide when hung 700-800mm above the worktop or table. The pendant is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and E27 dimmable bulb, allowing output to be adjusted from full brightness for food preparation to lower levels for dining or evening use.

The ribbed glass construction gives the shade visual weight without excessive physical mass, and the horizontal lines catch and reflect light differently depending on viewing angle. The IP20 rating limits the Archer to dry indoor spaces — it is not suitable for bathrooms, utility rooms or outdoor covered areas where moisture is present. What bulb does the Archer take?

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 8-12W and 2700K-3000K for dining and kitchen use. Check that the bulb is dimmable if you plan to use a dimmer switch.

Is the Archer dimmable?

How is the ribbed glass cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulb to cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. The ribbed texture traps dust in the grooves, so regular dry wiping prevents buildup.
