Description
The Arcera is an 80cm outdoor LED bollard light consisting of a single vertical column of matt black metal housing an integrated 3000K LED strip that runs the full height of the fitting. The bollard emits light along its entire length through a narrow frosted diffuser on one face, creating a vertical line of warm white light visible from pathways, driveways and garden borders.
Designed for pathway marking, driveway edges, patio perimeters and garden feature lighting, the Arcera sits 80cm above ground level and projects 25mm square in both dimensions, making it a low-profile vertical accent rather than a wide-throw area light. The IP65 rating protects the internal LED and driver from rain, hose spray and dust ingress, allowing the bollard to remain outdoors year-round. Installation involves a ground spike or surface-mount base depending on the substrate — gravel, paving or lawn.
The matt black powder-coated finish minimises reflections and helps the bollard recede visually during daylight, allowing the lit effect at night to dominate. The 3000K LED colour temperature provides warm white light that pairs well with traditional and contemporary garden schemes without casting the cold blue-white tone of higher colour temperatures. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for a typical LED lifespan of 25,000+ hours.

Frequently Asked
What is the IP65 rating suitable for?
IP65 means the bollard is fully protected against dust ingress and protected against water jets from any direction. It can remain outdoors in rain, sleet and hose spray without damage to the internal LED or driver.
How is the Arcera installed?
Installation depends on the base variant supplied. Ground-spike versions push into soft ground or lawns after cable connection. Surface-mount versions bolt to paving or concrete. All mains wiring must be installed by a qualified electrician in compliance with UK outdoor wiring regulations.
Can it be dimmed?
No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimmer switches or smart dimming protocols. The bollard operates at full output when switched on.
What's the light distribution pattern?
The Arcera emits light along one face only, creating a vertical line of illumination rather than 360-degree spread. This makes it effective for pathway marking where light needs to be directed forward onto a walking surface rather than spilling into adjacent planting beds.
