Description

The Arcena is a 50cm circular LED pendant light with an integrated dimmable warm white LED running around the full circumference of a slim matt black aluminium ring. The ring itself measures just 25mm in height, giving the appearance of a floating hoop of light when viewed from below. The integrated LED runs at 3000K and is controlled via a compatible mains dimmer, allowing the intensity to be adjusted from full output down to a low ambient glow.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and central ceiling positions in bedrooms or studies, the 50cm diameter suits rooms between 12-18m² where a clean-lined central light source is needed without bulk. The 2500mm suspension cable allows the fitting to be set at any height between 300mm and 2200mm below the ceiling rose, depending on room height and whether the light is positioned above a table or in free space. The IP20 rating limits the Arcena to indoor dry locations only.

The matt black finish on the aluminium frame absorbs reflections during daylight and creates a strong contrast against white ceilings, making the ring structure itself part of the visual design rather than attempting to hide the fitting. The LED strips are recessed into the underside of the ring so they face downwards, directing most of the light output below the plane of the fitting while a portion reflects back up off the ceiling. The result is both task lighting for surfaces below and softer ambient fill for the room as a whole.

The 2500mm cable length allows the fitting to hang anywhere from 300mm to 2200mm below the ceiling rose. The cable is shortened during installation by looping the excess inside the ceiling canopy, so the final drop height is set when the fitting is first wired in.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Arcena is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any area where it may be exposed to moisture or steam.
