Description

The Arcena is a 700mm diameter round LED semi-flush ceiling light built around a matt black metal hoop frame with an integrated LED light source at 3000K. The fitting sits just 25mm below the ceiling once installed, making it one of the slimmest large-diameter ceiling lights available and particularly suited to modern flats and converted spaces where ceiling height is limited.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas and bedrooms where a broad spread of ambient light is needed without dropping a pendant into the room, the Arcena works in spaces with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards. The 700mm diameter provides coverage for rooms up to 20-25 square metres, with the LED positioned behind the white acrylic diffuser to cast even light across the ceiling plane and downwards into the room. The three thin black metal rods suspend the hoop from the ceiling rose, keeping the visual weight minimal.

The matt black finish on the metal frame absorbs light rather than reflecting it, allowing the white diffuser to remain the focus when the fitting is lit. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior spaces only — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor covered areas. The integrated LED is not user-replaceable and is rated for a typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 15-20 years of domestic evening use.

Yes. The 25mm drop from ceiling to base of fitting makes the Arcena one of the slimmest large-diameter ceiling lights available, ideal for modern flats and converted spaces with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards.

Can the LED be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable. If dimming is required, consider an alternative fitting with a dimmable driver or replaceable dimmable bulbs.
