Arcane Square Outdoor LED Single Spotlight 7W 4000K - Grey

The Arcane Square is a single-head LED outdoor spotlight built from powder-coated aluminium in a 90mm cube format, housing an integrated 7W LED that outputs 4000K neutral white light. The head tilts on a central pivot, allowing the beam to be directed onto pathways, wall features, signage or planting, and the IP54 rating makes it suitable for exposed exterior walls, eaves, porch canopies and covered outdoor areas.

Designed for UK domestic and light commercial use, the spotlight fits standard UK back boxes on vertical surfaces and wiring connects via a rear knockout. The 90mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact while the tilting head provides enough range to angle light downwards onto ground-level features or upwards onto door numbers and entrance canopy soffits. The 7W output gives approximately 560 lumens — sufficient to light a doorstep, mark a step edge, or wash light across 2-3 metres of pathway without creating harsh glare.

The powder-coated grey finish is designed to withstand coastal, rural and urban weathering without visible corrosion, and the colour sits between charcoal and pale grey, blending with rendered walls, brick and timber cladding. The square aperture and chamfered edges give the fitting a modern geometric profile that suits both new-build and renovation projects. The 4000K colour temperature outputs a neutral white light that renders colours accurately for security and task purposes, without the yellow cast of warmer LED fittings or the blue tint of cooler daylight-rated LEDs.

What does the IP54 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for walls under eaves, covered porches and most exposed exterior walls, but is not designed for direct high-pressure hosing or full submersion. It will withstand UK rain and coastal spray in normal residential use.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 7W LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, which equates to around 10-15 years of typical evening use. The fitting carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux.

Can the spotlight head be angled after installation?

Yes. The head tilts on a central pivot, allowing the beam direction to be adjusted to light pathways, door numbers, steps or wall features. The pivot holds its position once set and does not require tools to adjust.

What beam angle does it produce?

The 7W LED outputs a focused beam suitable for accent and task lighting rather than wide-area flood lighting. The beam is designed to highlight a specific zone — typically 1-2 metres in diameter at ground level when mounted 2-2.5 metres high on a wall.
