Description

The Arcane Square is a 90mm wall-mounted LED spotlight with a single 7W integrated LED module, housed in a powder-coated black aluminium body with a tiltable square head and glass diffuser. The 4000K LED output delivers neutral white light at approximately 630 lumens, suited to highlighting architectural features, garden paths, or building facades without the warmer yellow cast of 3000K or the cooler blue tone of 5000K.

Designed for external wall mounting on residential or commercial properties, the spotlight carries an IP54 rating making it suitable for exposed outdoor use in UK weather conditions. The tiltable head adjusts vertically through approximately 90 degrees, allowing the beam to be directed upward onto a wall surface for wash lighting, downward onto a pathway or planting bed, or angled outward to graze across textured surfaces. The 90mm square backplate fixes to standard exterior masonry or cladding using concealed fixings behind the plate.

The powder-coated aluminium construction resists corrosion from moisture and UV exposure better than painted steel or bare aluminium finishes. The matte black surface absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping the fitting itself visually recessive against dark walls and reducing glare from the fixture body during evening use. The square profile of both the backplate and lamp head gives a more architectural appearance than cylindrical spotlights, pairing well with contemporary facades and modern garden design schemes.

The integrated LED is non-replaceable and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, which translates to around 6-7 years of typical evening-only use. The fitting is not dimmable and operates on 220-240V mains supply with internal driver circuitry housed in the backplate. Installation requires connection to exterior mains wiring via a weatherproof junction box or direct feed through the wall.
