Description

The Amulet is an 18cm round wall light with ribbed moulded glass set into a circular gold metal frame, housing an integrated 3W 3000K LED. The ribbed glass refracts the light into vertical striations that project onto adjacent walls and ceilings, turning the fitting into both a light source and a decorative element.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedrooms and living room accent lighting, the Amulet sits 11cm proud of the wall and provides directed ambient light rather than task illumination. The 3W LED output is modest, making the fitting suitable for secondary lighting in rooms where a ceiling light provides the primary source, or as wayfinding light in corridors where full brightness is not needed. The IP20 rating restricts use to internal dry locations only.

The gold frame finish pairs with both warm-toned and contemporary interiors, while the ribbed glass diffuser softens the LED point source and creates the visual interest. The 18cm diameter gives the fitting a noticeable presence on the wall without dominating smaller hallway widths. The fitting mounts to a standard UK back box and wiring is concealed behind the metal backplate.

The integrated 3W LED is not dimmable. The fitting provides fixed 3000K warm white output at full brightness only.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Amulet to dry internal locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, utility rooms or any location where moisture or splashing is present.

What light pattern does the ribbed glass create?

The vertical ribbing in the glass refracts the LED into parallel vertical striations that project onto adjacent walls and the ceiling. The pattern is most visible on plain painted surfaces within 1-2m of the fitting.

What mounting is required?

The Amulet mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose or wall back box. The metal backplate conceals the wiring and fixing points. The fitting projects 11cm from the wall once installed.
