Description

The Amberley is a ceramic table lamp base moulded with rows of sculptured bobble shapes and finished in a glossy glaze. It is sold as a base so you can add one of our decorative fabric shades to suit your room, in either a 25cm or 35cm size. Standing 395mm tall with a 165mm diameter, it takes a single B22 bayonet bulb up to 10W. A switched metal B22 lamp holder, aged brass plated stem and silver-grey braided flex complete the design.

This playful base suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, and its rounded texture works well in both modern and vintage settings. Because the shade is a separate choice, it is an easy way to pick colours that match your scheme, whether you want a calm neutral or a brighter accent. The switch on the holder means you do not need a wall switch nearby, so it is handy on a bedside table, a sideboard or a shelf where you want soft, low-level light.

The base is available in a gloss white crackle glaze or a gloss olive green glaze, each paired with an aged brass stem for warmth. Wiring is Class 1 earthed and the lamp is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, so keep it away from bathrooms and splashes. Ceramic can be wiped clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dried straight away, while the metalwork needs only a dry cloth.
