Made from aluminium, polypropylene and polycarbonate, our Aluvia lampshade in Ruby Red is built to a form we return to again and again: overlapping curved metal leaves that gather like a pine cone and open at the bottom. This is not a smooth cone or a plain drum. Each leaf sits proud of the one beneath it, so the shade catches light along every edge and throws a soft, layered glow once the bulb is on. We finished this one in a deep Ruby Red that reads warm by day and richer still when lit.

This is the Medium size, standing 48cm tall with a diameter of 59cm and weighing 1.97kg. It suits a pendant flex, a floor lamp stem or a table lamp base, and it works with E27 fittings, so most of the bulbs you already own will thread straight in.
