Description

The Alize is a dining chair with a curved plywood and foam shell upholstered in beige 100% polyester fabric, supported on four slender matt black metal legs. The shell wraps the seat and backrest into a single continuous form, giving ergonomic support through the lower back and under the thighs without requiring separate cushions or padded elements.

Designed for dining tables in residential and hospitality settings, the Alize suits four- to six-person dining areas where a clean, neutral palette is preferred. The 56cm width and 55cm depth fit standard dining table spacing of 60-65cm per person, and the 75cm overall height positions the seat at typical dining chair height of approximately 45-47cm from the floor. The beige upholstery pairs with oak, walnut and light ash tables, and the black legs provide definition against pale flooring.

The polyester fabric is woven tight enough to resist everyday marks but requires dry cleaning for deeper maintenance — it is not wipe-clean. The plywood shell gives the chair structural rigidity while keeping the weight to 7.7kg, making it movable without needing two hands. The matt black finish on the metal legs is powder-coated to resist scratching during chair movement on hard floors. Multiple Alize chairs can be nested slightly for storage, though they do not stack vertically.

Yes. The legs attach to the shell using screws. Assembly instructions are provided in the Downloads tab. Basic tools are required and assembly typically takes 10-15 minutes per chair.

How is the upholstery cleaned?

The polyester fabric requires dry cleaning for deep stains or marks. Light surface dust can be removed with a soft brush or vacuum upholstery attachment, but liquid spills should be blotted immediately and professionally cleaned if they penetrate the fabric.

What is the seat height from the floor?

The seat height is approximately 45-47cm from the floor, which is standard for dining chairs paired with tables of 72-76cm height.

Can multiple chairs be stacked for storage?

The Alize does not stack vertically, but multiple chairs can be nested slightly by angling them together. This reduces storage footprint but does not achieve the density of purpose-built stacking chairs.
