Description

The Alfaisis is a 1000mm track lighting cover in matt black plastic, designed to conceal unused sections of track rail or to bridge gaps between track spotlights. The cover clips onto standard Ideal Lux track systems, providing a clean, uninterrupted ceiling line where track is visible but not occupied by a fitting.

Used in retail, hospitality and residential installations where track lighting runs across a ceiling but not every section needs a spotlight, the cover hides the bare rail and presents a finished look. The 50mm projection matches the depth of the track rail itself, so the cover sits flush with the track profile without creating steps or edges. The matt black finish disappears visually against dark ceilings or contrasts cleanly against white.

The cover is a snap-fit plastic extrusion that locks into the track channel without tools or fixings. It can be removed and repositioned if the lighting layout changes, making it a reversible solution for evolving retail displays or gallery spaces. The 1000mm length can be cut down with a hacksaw if a shorter section is needed to fill a specific gap in the track run.

Frequently Asked

Which track systems is this compatible with?

The Alfaisis cover is designed for Ideal Lux track systems. It clips directly into the track channel and matches the 50mm projection of standard Ideal Lux track rails. It is not compatible with other manufacturers' tracks unless they share the same channel profile.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The 1000mm plastic extrusion can be cut down with a fine-tooth hacksaw or a mitre saw to fit shorter gaps in the track run. Cut edges can be lightly sanded to remove burrs before the cover is clipped into place.

How is it fitted?

The cover snaps into the track channel without tools. Align the cover with the track rail and press firmly until it clicks into place. To remove, gently pull the cover away from the track at one end and slide it out of the channel.
