Description

The Alfa S is a 7W LED magnetic track downlight with adjustable colour temperature from warm white 2700K through to cool daylight 6000K. The cylindrical aluminium body mounts to 48V DC magnetic track rails via an integrated magnetic coupling, allowing the light to be positioned, repositioned and removed without tools. The downlight projects a focused beam through a 53mm aperture, delivering 700+ lumens depending on the selected colour temperature.

Designed for retail displays, gallery lighting, home offices and kitchens where directed accent or task lighting is needed, the Alfa S suits installations where light positions change over time or where multiple downlights need coordinated spacing on a single track. The magnetic mounting removes the need for fixed ceiling penetrations, so the track can be reconfigured without re-wiring. The adjustable CCT function allows one fitting to serve different visual tasks: warm white for evening ambient use, neutral white for general task work, or cool white for product display and inspection lighting.

The black powder-coated aluminium body measures 96mm tall and 53mm diameter, with the 193mm magnetic rail mounting bracket providing secure contact with the track even when the light head is angled. The dimmable LED driver responds to compatible 48V DC dimming controllers, allowing output to be reduced from full brightness down to approximately 10% without flicker. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments. Maytoni backs the integrated LED with a 5-year warranty.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The Alfa S includes a control interface on the light body allowing you to cycle through colour temperatures from 2700K warm white through 3000K, 4000K, 5000K up to 6000K cool white. The selected temperature is retained when the light is switched off and on again.

What track system does it fit?

The Alfa S is designed for 48V DC magnetic track rail systems. It will not fit mains-voltage three-circuit track or standard single-circuit track rails. Check your existing track voltage and mounting type before ordering.

Is the light head adjustable?

Yes. The cylindrical head can be angled on its mount to direct the beam where needed. The magnetic coupling holds the downlight securely at the selected angle.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Alfa S is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be used in dry indoor locations away from direct water contact.
