Description

This is a classic table lamp with a turned spindle base in natural ash wood, paired with a 20cm Ivy shade in vintage and almond white cotton mix fabric. It stands 380mm tall with a 200mm shade diameter, and the handmade tapered shade carries a taped edge in a contrasting almond white for a neat, finished look. The Aldworth takes a single B22 bayonet-fit bulb in a switched brass lamp holder.

It suits a living room, bedroom, study or hallway where you want a warm, classic light with natural materials. The natural ash grain and soft vintage white shade keep the palette gentle, so it works in country and classic rooms as well as relaxed modern schemes, while the brass lamp holder adds a warm metallic note. At just 0.6kg it is light to move and easy to reposition, and the tapered Ivy shade gives a soft, warm light downwards, making it a good side-table, console or bedside lamp with a considered, put-together feel.

The base is a turned natural ash spindle on a switched brass B22 lamp holder with a 1.5 metre grey braided fabric cable, topped with a handmade 20cm tapered Ivy shade in vintage white cotton mix with an almond white taped edge. It takes one B22 bayonet-fit bulb up to 7W, and as a Class 1 earthed, IP20 indoor fitting it connects to an earthed supply and should be kept away from water. Wipe the ash with a dry cloth and keep it out of direct damp, and lift dust from the shade with a soft brush. Matching pieces are available in the range.
