Description

The Aldfield is a compact single pendant that gathers a cluster of twisted clear glass rods beneath a warm brushed aged brass frame. The rods catch and split the light for a bright, sparkling effect, while the tiered arrangement gives the small 240mm fitting real presence for its size. It takes one E27 lamp and hangs from a slim brass-finished frame and chain. This is the one-light size in the Aldfield range, ideal where you want the look of glass drops without a large fitting overhead.

Because it is small and hangs from an adjustable chain, the Aldfield suits tighter spots as much as open rooms. Hang a single pendant beside a bed, over a hallway console or above a kitchen breakfast bar, or run two or three in a row along a dining table or island. The clear glass and brass finish keep it light and warm, and the exposed rods make the most of a decorative filament lamp behind them.

The frame is brushed aged brass for a soft, warm tone, and the twisted clear glass rods give the pendant its shimmer. The drop adjusts from 555mm to 1655mm on a 1.2 metre chain with clear cable, so it fits standard and taller ceilings. It is a Class 2 double insulated fitting, so it does not need an earth at the fitting, and the IP20 rating suits dry indoor rooms away from bathrooms. It is dimmable with a compatible trailing edge dimmer. Wipe the glass rods and brass with a dry, soft cloth. Larger five and nine-light sizes are available in the same range.
