Aldfield 5 Light Pendant - Brass

The Aldfield five-light pendant builds a fuller cascade of elongated clear glass rods within a warm brushed aged brass frame. The rods are arranged in tiers so the light steps down through the fitting, catching each layer of glass for a bright, decorative glow. The frame is 500mm across and takes five E14 lamps, giving more light and more sparkle than the single-drop version. It is a rounded, generous shape that reads as a centrepiece over a table.

This mid-size pendant suits dining rooms, lounges and larger bedrooms, where its 500mm spread fills the space above a table or seating without overwhelming it. The tiered glass makes the most of decorative filament lamps, and the brass frame ties in with warm metals elsewhere in the room. It is a good choice if you want something eye-catching overhead but prefer glass and brass to a heavy shade.

The metalwork is brushed aged brass, warm and softly aged, while the twisted clear glass rods give the pendant its shimmer and depth. The drop adjusts from 590mm to 1990mm on a 1.5 metre chain, so you can set the height to suit the room. It is a Class 2 double insulated fitting, so it does not require an earth at the fitting, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms. It is dimmable with a compatible trailing edge dimmer and dimmable E14 lamps. Dust the glass rods and wipe the brass with a dry, soft cloth. One and nine-light sizes complete the range.
