This floor lamp takes its cue from Scandinavian simplicity, pairing a spiralling oak effect base with a natural linen cylinder shade. The light wood base curves in a spiral form that gives it a soft, sculptural shape, while the linen shade keeps the light gentle and even. It stands 1585mm tall with a 420mm shade, so it spreads a wide, soft pool of light beside a seat. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 10W and suits an E27 LED filament lamp.

The natural wood and linen give it a calm, pared-back look that suits Scandinavian and modern interiors, and it settles easily into a living room, a bedroom or a reading corner. The spiral base makes it a quiet feature even when the light is off, while the cylinder shade throws an even light over a chair or side table. Its neutral palette works in relaxed, nature-led rooms as well as brighter modern schemes, so it is easy to place. At 8.1kg the base gives it a firm footing, and the spiral form takes up little floor while still reading as a feature.
