Description
The Aetherial is an 8-light crystal chandelier built on a 750mm diameter metal frame finished in antique silver, with eight curved arms holding E14 candle bulbs and cascading cut crystal droplets suspended throughout the frame. The chandelier combines cast metal bowls and turned column details with faceted crystal teardrops and beads that refract light across walls and ceilings when the bulbs are lit.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Aetherial provides both ambient and decorative light. The 560mm body height excludes the chain, which is covered with a grey velvet sleeve to soften the visual line of the cable run. The chandelier pairs with dimmer switches rated for the total bulb wattage, allowing light levels to be adjusted from full brightness for dining and entertaining down to lower levels for atmospheric evening lighting.
The antique silver finish on the metal frame is darker and cooler-toned than polished chrome or nickel, sitting between brushed steel and pewter in appearance. This makes it compatible with both warm classical interiors and cooler contemporary schemes that use greys, charcoals and white as the base palette. The cut crystal elements are clear rather than tinted, so they take on the colour temperature of whichever E14 bulbs are fitted — warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) produce amber and gold refractions, while daylight bulbs (4000K+) give clearer white and blue refractions.
Each crystal droplet is individually hung on a metal pin, meaning individual elements can be cleaned or replaced without dismantling the entire fixture. The IP20 rating limits the Aetherial to dry indoor use — it is not suitable for bathrooms, covered porches or any location where moisture or condensation is present.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Aetherial take?
The chandelier takes eight E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, sold separately. Most users fit 4W-6W LED candle bulbs in either warm white (2700K-3000K) for a warmer amber tone through the crystals, or daylight (4000K) for clearer white light.
Is the chandelier dimmable?
Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch rated for the total load. Check the dimmer manufacturer's specification to confirm compatibility with LED bulbs if using LEDs.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 560mm body height plus chain drop means the chandelier works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The chain length is adjustable during installation to set the fixture at the correct height above a dining table or in a hallway.
How are the crystals cleaned?
Switch off and allow bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal with a dry microfibre cloth, or for more thorough cleaning use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid household sprays or chemical cleaners, which can leave residue that dulls the crystal facets over time.
