Description

The Aethera is a 30cm diameter cylinder lampshade with a fire-retardant PVC frame covered in beige fabric. The shade measures 300mm across and is designed to fit standard table lamp and floor lamp fittings that use an E27 bulb holder with a shade carrier ring or harp attachment.

Suited to bedside tables, console tables, and smaller floor lamps in living rooms and bedrooms, the 30cm diameter provides enough coverage for a single E27 bulb without overwhelming the base. The beige fabric softens the light output, diffusing the bulb glow to create ambient rather than directional lighting. The cylindrical form sits flush at top and bottom, with no taper or flare.

The fabric is mounted onto a rigid PVC framework that meets fire-retardant standards for residential use. The beige tone is a neutral warm off-white with slight linen texture visible when the shade is unlit, shifting to a warmer cream-beige when illuminated from inside.
