Description

The Aethera is a 20cm cone lampshade built on a fireproof PVC frame wrapped in dark beige fabric. The conical profile tapers from a 20cm base diameter to a narrower top aperture, allowing the shade to fit both E27 pendant lampholders and table lamp bases with standard European-style fittings.

Designed to replace existing shades on bedside table lamps, accent lamps and smaller floor lamps, the 20cm size suits rooms where ambient rather than task lighting is needed. The fabric diffuses light evenly through the material, softening the output and reducing glare compared to bare-bulb fittings. The shade works with LED, halogen and low-wattage incandescent bulbs (bulb not included).

The dark beige tone sits between taupe and oatmeal, presenting as a warm neutral that pairs with both cool greys and warmer wood tones. The fabric shows a tight weave visible at close range, giving the surface a linen-like texture without the transparency of looser weaves. The PVC frame inside the fabric carries a fire-retardant rating, reducing ignition risk from high-wattage bulbs.
