Description

The Abstract is a 460mm spherical pendant light built from multiple concentric metal rings arranged in overlapping orbital patterns, finished in matt black and suspended on a single cable from a matching black canopy. The central E27 bulb sits within the innermost ring, casting light outward through the gaps between the metal hoops to create layered shadow patterns on surrounding walls and ceilings.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Abstract functions as both light source and sculptural object. The 440mm overall drop from canopy to bottom of the rings works well when hung 700-900mm above a dining surface, allowing the pendant to occupy visual space without obstructing sightlines across the table. The dimmable E27 fitting pairs with most household dimmer switches when fitted with a compatible LED bulb.

The orbital ring structure gives the pendant a kinetic appearance that changes depending on viewing angle, with the overlapping hoops forming different geometric patterns as you move around the room. The matt black finish absorbs ambient light during the day and becomes more prominent once the bulb is switched on in the evening.
