Description

Solid oak forms the open frame of our Conversation Piece lounge chair, with plywood, MDF and PUR shaping the upholstered shell that we cover in a warm Brown polyester drawn from our Horizons S, Teddy Bear and Hope leather textile references. The wood here is Dark Oak, a deep and grounded tone that sets the whole piece firmly on the floor while the cross-rails keep everything steady. It is a considered mix of materials, and we choose each one so the chair feels solid under you and holds its shape over years of use.

The form is what gives this lounge chair its name. A tall upholstered back curves inward at the top like a pair of wings, cradling your head and shoulders when you settle in with a book or a slow cup of coffee. At 106cm high, 73cm wide and 93cm deep, it holds a generous seating position without crowding a room, and the open Dark Oak frame keeps the visual weight low so the chair reads as light rather than bulky. It is designed to sit well in a reading corner, beside a table lamp, or turned toward the window where the Brown covering warms in daylight.
