Solid dark oak sets the tone for our A Conversation Piece Tall Lounge Chair, its warm, deep-toned frame paired with a Black upholstered shell that suits a reading corner, a bedroom, or a quiet spot by the window. The wood is worked into an open structure with cross-rails, so the chair reads as light on its feet despite standing a full 106cm tall. It holds you comfortably without dominating the floor, at 73cm wide and 93cm deep.

The high back is the part we return to most. It curves inward at the top like a pair of wings, so the upholstered shell rises up and gently gathers around you as you settle in. Behind the fabric sit plywood, MDF and PUR, all resting on that solid oak frame. The whole chair weighs 19.5kg, which keeps it steady in use while still being manageable when you want to move it between rooms.
