Description

At 106cm tall, our A Conversation Piece lounge chair stands high enough to cradle your head and shoulders, so we range it as a place to properly settle rather than perch. Measuring 73cm wide and 93cm deep, it holds a generous seat within a tall upholstered shell that curves inward at the top like a pair of wings. That gentle wrap gives you something to lean into, whether you are reading in a quiet corner or turning the chair towards company for a longer chat. It weighs 19.5kg, so it feels planted underfoot while remaining easy enough for us to reposition when a room needs rearranging.

The shell sits on an open frame of solid oak in our Black Oak finish, with cross-rails that brace the legs and keep the whole piece steady. We have covered the chair in a warm Brown, a shade that settles easily alongside natural wood, wool throws and softer neutrals. Together the tall back and the exposed timber base give the chair a light, open look rather than a bulky one.

Assembly takes around 20 minutes and we include a short video to walk you through it, so the frame and shell come together without fuss.
