At 63cm wide and 50cm deep, our A Conversation Piece ottoman keeps a compact footprint while still giving you a generous place to rest your feet, and its 43cm height sits comfortably alongside most sofa seats. It is a low upholstered piece on an open solid oak frame, so it slots neatly in front of an armchair or beside a reading nook without crowding the living room. Weighing just 7kg, it is easy for us to move and easy for you to reposition when you want to change the layout of a space.

The upholstery is a deep Black polyester, and we have paired it with a Dark Oak frame whose cross-rails stay on show rather than being boxed in. That open construction is part of the appeal for us, as it lets the wood carry visual weight while the cushioned top handles the comfort. Assembly takes around 20 minutes, so you can have it settled into place the same afternoon it arrives.
