Description

Solid oak forms the open frame of our Conversation Piece Ottoman, and it is this honest use of material that shapes the whole piece. We pair that framework with cross-rails for stability, then top it with a padded seat wrapped in a warm Cognac upholstery. The wood is finished in Black Oak, giving the base a deep, grounded tone that sits beneath the softer colour above it. Made from solid oak, plywood, polyester, MDF and PUR, it is built to be handled, moved and used every day, and at just 7kg it lifts easily when you want to rearrange a room.

We range this as a low, welcoming ottoman rather than anything bulky. Measuring 43cm high, 63cm wide and 50cm deep, it slots into the gaps other furniture leaves behind. Pull it up beside an armchair for a drink and a book, or set it at the foot of a bed where the Cognac upholstery and Black Oak frame read as one considered pairing. Because the frame is open with visible cross-rails, it never feels heavy in a space, and it works just as well pushed under a console when you need the floor clear.
