The Maytoni Trinity X-shaped connector is a four-way junction piece for 3-phase surface-mounted track lighting systems, allowing track runs to meet at right angles from four directions. Built from black plastic with internal copper contacts, the connector maintains electrical continuity across all three phases while mechanically securing four separate track sections into a single cross-shaped layout.

Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential spaces where track lighting needs to turn corners or branch into multiple directions, the X-connector enables grid and spoke layouts without requiring separate ceiling fixings at each junction point. The 16.6cm span between opposing track connection points accommodates standard-profile 3-phase track, and the 3.2cm height keeps the connector flush with the track profile once installed. The connector is rated IP20 for dry indoor use and handles 220-240V AC across all three phases.

The black finish matches Maytoni's Trinity track range and other black-finish 3-phase systems, giving visual continuity when the track is exposed rather than recessed. Is this compatible with all 3-phase track systems?

The Trinity X-connector is designed for Maytoni Trinity track and other standard-profile 3-phase surface-mounted track systems. Compatibility depends on the track profile width and the phase contact configuration. Check the track manufacturer's specifications before purchasing to confirm fit.

How many track sections can connect to this?

Four. The X-shaped connector accepts one track section on each of its four arms, allowing track runs to meet at 90-degree angles in a cross layout.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not weather-sealed and should not be used in bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, or anywhere exposed to moisture.

Does it require a separate ceiling fixing?

No. The X-connector mechanically locks to the four track sections that connect to it. As long as the track sections are properly fixed to the ceiling with their own mounting clips, the connector is held in place by the track itself.
