Description

The Maytoni Trinity right T-shaped connector joins three-phase surface-mounted track sections at a 90-degree angle, allowing track lighting systems to branch from a main run into perpendicular sections. The connector maintains the three-phase electrical continuity across the junction, meaning spotlights positioned on either side of the T-junction can be controlled independently on their respective circuits.

Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential track lighting installations, the connector suits environments where lighting needs to follow architectural features, wall breaks, or room layouts that turn corners. The white plastic finish matches Maytoni's Trinity track range and blends into white ceilings or painted track mounts. The connector measures 166mm along the main axis and 99mm across the perpendicular branch, with a 32mm vertical profile when fitted to the track.

The connector is surface-mounted onto existing Trinity track sections using the same mounting clips as the track itself, with internal copper contacts that slot into the track's conductor rails. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor environments only. The plastic construction keeps the connector lightweight at under 100g, reducing load on ceiling fixings when multiple connectors are used across a large track installation.

What does 'right T-shaped' mean?

The right T-shaped configuration means the perpendicular branch extends to the right when you're facing along the main track run. If your layout needs the branch to extend left, you would need the left T-shaped connector variant from the Trinity range.

Is this compatible with single-phase track?

No. This connector is designed specifically for three-phase track systems where the track contains three separate circuits. It will not fit or function correctly with single-phase or two-phase track.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is designed for dry indoor environments only. It is not protected against moisture ingress and should not be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any outdoor setting.

Does it require additional fixing to the ceiling?

The connector mounts directly onto the existing track sections using the same mounting system as the track itself. No separate ceiling fixings are needed for the connector, but the track sections on either side must be securely fixed to the ceiling or mounting surface.
