Description

The Knightsbridge 18W LED bulkhead combines a die-cast aluminium body with an opal polycarbonate diffuser, rated IP65 for outdoor installation. The integrated LED gear tray offers three selectable colour temperatures — 3000K (1680lm), 4000K (1790lm), or 6000K (1810lm) — adjusted via a switch on the back plate before installation, allowing one fitting to serve different applications without stocking multiple SKUs.

Designed for external wall-mounting on commercial premises, residential pathways, car parks, building entrances and communal areas, the bulkhead provides 110-degree beam spread across a 360mm-diameter lens. The grey powder-coated aluminium housing resists impact and corrosion in coastal or industrial environments, while the anti-vandal construction withstands tampering in public or high-traffic locations. The fitting draws 18W on 230V mains and achieves 132.6lm/W efficacy.

The opal diffuser eliminates visible LED hotspots and spreads light evenly across doorways, loading bays and stairwells. The 92mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting low-profile while the die-cast rear plate provides a secure fixing point on masonry, render or timber cladding. The Class I earthed construction requires connection to mains earth. The LED module is rated for 50,000 hours to L70B50, which translates to approximately 11 years of continuous operation before output drops to 70% of initial lumens.

Once installed, the colour temperature cannot be changed without removing the fitting from the wall and opening the rear plate.
