Description
The Zorella is a sculptural wall light built from two overlapping circular discs: a 300mm light beige travertine ring on one side and a solid walnut brown wooden disc on the other, set off-axis so each partially eclipses the other. A circular opal glass diffuser sits at the intersection, housing a single G9 lamp that lights the centre of the composition.
The fitting suits living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and hallways where a piece of wall sculpture is wanted alongside ambient light. At 300mm in diameter and 250mm projecting from the wall, it works as a single feature on a plain wall or in matched pairs flanking a bed, sofa or fireplace. The G9 lamp delivers warm directional light that washes across the natural travertine surface, picking out the mineral pores and tonal banding in the stone.
Travertine is a sedimentary limestone with a naturally porous, open-grained surface, so each disc shows different cavities, vein lines and beige tonal variation. The walnut wood disc is finished to bring out the grain figuring against the matt stone, and the contrast between cool textured stone and warm smooth wood is the central design idea of the piece. The opal glass diffuser softens the lamp output so no glare is visible from typical viewing angles.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Zorella take?
It takes a single G9 capsule lamp (sold separately). Most users pair it with a warm-white 2700K-3000K G9 LED at 3-4W for ambient wall lighting, though halogen G9 lamps are also compatible.
Does each piece look identical?
No. The travertine disc is cut from natural stone, so the pore distribution, vein lines and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. The walnut grain pattern also varies. This is a feature of the natural materials, not a defect.
Can it be installed in a bathroom?
The Zorella is not supplied with an IP rating in the specification, so it should be treated as an indoor-only fitting and kept out of bathroom zones and other damp locations.
How is the travertine cleaned?
Wipe the stone with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid water, household sprays and chemical cleaners, as travertine is porous and can absorb liquid into the open grain. The walnut disc can be dusted with the same cloth.
