Description

The Way is a recessed floor marker that sets flush into the ground and casts a single symmetric wash straight up. The square trim sits level with the paving while the body drops beneath, so by day it reads as a small square plate underfoot and by night it lays light across the surface around it. This version uses a Wide optic, giving one symmetric upward wash, which picks out a path edge, a step or a driveway line without a tall fitting in the way. Lit, it marks the ground with a low glow; unlit, the anthracite face stays flush and unobtrusive.

Light comes from a GX53 bulb, which is included and replaceable, so the tone follows whichever lamp is fitted. Built from anti-corrosion, UV-stabilised resin and sealed to IP67 against dust and water with an IK10 impact rating, it is made to be walked over and even driven over, which suits a driveway, a terrace or a garden path where the fitting has to take weight and weather. It runs straight off mains.

The body and diffuser are high-performance resin finished anthracite, a 120mm square face about 93mm deep that recesses into the ground. Because a GX53 bulb sits inside, we supply it ready to run and it can be relamped later without lifting the housing. Rated for outdoor ground use, it is best set into paving or a hard bed where its low beam can graze the surface.
