Description
We stock the Trinity live end adaptor in black as the power feed for single-circuit track lighting. It is the part that takes mains supply from a ceiling rose or junction box into one end of the track rail, so pendants, spotlights or other track-mounted fittings can draw power along the length of the rail. The housing is moulded from black plastic to sit against a black track profile and keep a clean, consistent line across the ceiling.
The adaptor suits both new installations and retrofits where the power feed enters at the end of the run rather than through a mid-point connector. We see it used in kitchens, retail units, galleries and offices, anywhere a single-circuit track needs a tidy, low-profile entry point for its mains supply. Because it feeds power in at one end, it pairs naturally with a straight run of track rather than a junction or corner.
The Trinity live end adaptor runs on 220-240V AC 50Hz mains and is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, so it belongs indoors away from moisture. It is not dimmable in itself, as dimming is handled at the driver or bulb rather than at the feed. Fitting should be carried out by a qualified electrician, with the adaptor clipping or screwing into the end of the track depending on the profile and wired back to the ceiling electrical box.

Frequently Asked
What does this adaptor do?
It feeds 220-240V mains power into one end of a single-circuit track rail from a ceiling rose or junction box, so any track-mounted fittings along the rail can draw power.
Can I fit it myself?
We recommend a qualified electrician. The adaptor wires back to your ceiling electrical box and clips or screws into the end of the track, so it should be connected to mains by a competent person.
Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it to rooms away from moisture such as kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and offices rather than bathrooms.
Is it dimmable?
The adaptor itself is not dimmable. It simply feeds power into the track, so any dimming is handled at the driver or bulb of the fittings you run along the rail.
