Description

The Steel is a slim linear pendant built from a single extruded aluminium bar that runs 1192mm along its length. Its integrated LED sits behind a narrow lens set to a 44 degree beam, so the light drops as a defined band rather than a broad wash. This accent version reads as a bright, controlled stroke below the bar, which suits a run where you want the surface picked out cleanly rather than the whole room filled.

The output is neutral and clear at 4000K, with 3850 lumens and a colour rendering above 90, so tools, food and finishes below it show their true colour. In white the bar almost disappears against a pale ceiling, reading as a fine line rather than a heavy fitting. At 1192mm long and only 21mm deep, the drop can be set anywhere up to 2095mm to match the room.

The body is powder-coated aluminium in white, hung on adjustable cable. The LED is built in and included, rated to 50,000 hours, so there is nothing to buy separately and it works the moment it is wired. Rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, so we would have an electrician make the connection.

Yes. The LED is built in and included, rated at 30W with a 50,000 hour life, so there are no separate lamps to fit. It arrives ready to wire in.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED is not listed as dimmable, so we would treat it as a fixed-output fitting unless a compatible driver is confirmed. We can check before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The bar is 1192mm long and 21mm deep, with a drop adjustable up to 2095mm. That length and tight beam suit a kitchen island, a long worktop or a desk run where a clean line of downward light is wanted.
