Perlage Chandelier - Matt Black with Amber Glass

The Perlage is a large chandelier built from twenty-five hand-blown Pyrex spheres held on a slim matt black metal frame. Here the glass is amber, so each sphere reads as a warm honey-toned bead by day and glows a deeper gold once lit. It gives a scattered, decorative light rather than a single flood, the kind of piece that anchors a room from above rather than working as a task light.

Every sphere carries its own G9 lamp, so the fitting spreads its light across a wide footprint of just over a metre. The amber glass pushes the colour warm, which suits a dining room or a lounge where the mood matters more than brightness. Lit, it throws a soft golden cast across the ceiling; unlit, it hangs as a cluster of warm glass beads that catch the daylight.

We supply it ready to wire, with the G9 lamps included. The drop is adjustable from 590mm up to 2190mm, so the height can be set to the ceiling and the sightline of the room it hangs in.

What kind of light does the Perlage give?

A warm, scattered glow. The amber Pyrex glass diffuses each of the twenty-five G9 lamps and pushes the colour golden, so it lights a room decoratively from above rather than casting a single bright beam. It suits ambient lighting over a table more than close task work.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. The twenty-five G9 lamps are included, so the chandelier arrives ready to wire and light.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the G9 lamps fitted. With dimmable G9 bulbs on a compatible dimmer the output can be lowered; the fitting itself carries no integrated driver.

How big is it and where does it suit?

It measures 1035mm long by 1100mm deep, with an adjustable drop from 590mm to 2190mm. At this scale it works best over a large dining table, in a double-height stairwell or in a generous lounge where the warm amber glow can carry.
