Description
We stock the Namiki as a wood-slat LED pendant light, with a 265mm cage of curved birch ribs held on metal rings beneath a matt black metal canopy and cable suspension. An integrated 14W LED sits inside the cage and casts its light out through the slatted structure, so the wood itself works as a partial diffuser and filters the beam into soft striped patterns across the surfaces below.
We think it works best over a dining table, breakfast bar or kitchen island, where the cage can hang at a comfortable working height and the slats let light spill sideways as well as down. The LED is switchable between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, so you can set it warm for relaxed dining or cooler for a kitchen prep area, and its wide 120 degree beam and 80 CRI give an even, natural-looking spread. At 265mm across, it holds its own over a smaller table or a compact island without dominating the space.
The black metal canopy houses the driver and mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose, and the whole fitting runs on 220-240V mains. The LED is integrated rather than a replaceable bulb, it draws 14W for up to 388 lumens, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. It is not dimmable, and the natural birch grain varies a little from piece to piece depending on the timber used.

Frequently Asked
How is it fitted?
The black metal canopy holds the driver and fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose, running on 220-240V mains. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to fit, and we would suggest a qualified electrician for the connection.
Is it dimmable?
No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed output, so it is not designed to work on a dimmer. You can instead choose the mood by switching the colour temperature between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K.
Where does it work best?
We recommend it over a dining table, breakfast bar or kitchen island. At 265mm across it suits a smaller table or a compact island, and the wide 120 degree beam spreads light evenly across the surface below.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, so it is made for dry indoor rooms such as kitchens and dining spaces and should not be fitted in a bathroom or anywhere exposed to moisture.
