Description
The Lumara is a 565mm twin-tube wall light built from two vertically stacked cylinders of natural Spanish alabaster, joined by a brushed brass central collar to a curved brushed brass backplate. Each alabaster tube houses an E14 bulb (sold separately), with one cylinder firing upward and the other downward to wash the wall above and below the fitting. The projection from the wall is 140mm and the overall width is 110mm.
The up-and-down configuration suits hallways, bedside positions, living room flanks and dressing areas where directional accent light is needed without a single harsh source. Mounted in pairs either side of a mirror, fireplace or piece of artwork, the symmetrical twin-tube form gives a balanced architectural rhythm. As a single fitting in a corridor, it provides enough vertical glow to read by while keeping the wall plane visually uncluttered. Standard UK wall box fixing.
Each alabaster cylinder is cut from a single piece of stone, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual tubes. When the E14 bulbs are lit, the stone itself becomes the diffuser, producing a warm, layered glow that picks up the mineral patterning rather than washing it out. The brushed brass collar and backplate carry a soft sheen that pairs cleanly with both the cool tones of the alabaster and warmer interior palettes.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Lumara take?
The fitting takes two E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, one in each alabaster tube. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white LED between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K pairs well with the natural alabaster and produces the warmest glow through the stone.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
This wall light does not carry a published IP rating, so it is intended for dry indoor locations such as hallways, bedrooms and living spaces rather than bathroom zones. For mirror lighting in a bathroom, choose a fitting with a confirmed IP44 rating or above.
Does each alabaster tube look identical?
No. Each cylinder is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual tubes. This natural variation is a feature of the stone rather than a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe each tube gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but do not soak the stone.
