Description
The Korvane is a wall-mounted spotlight built around a 200mm circular backplate cut from natural light beige travertine, with a cylindrical walnut brown wood head fixed off-centre and angled outward from the disc. The head houses a single E27 lamp socket, giving directional accent light from a compact architectural form. The travertine surface shows the open pores, mineral speckling and tonal variation typical of the natural stone.
Designed as accent and feature lighting rather than a primary room source, the Korvane suits living rooms, hallways, stairwells and reading corners where light needs to be aimed at a specific surface. The angled cylinder directs the beam outward and slightly down from the wall, making it suitable for highlighting artwork, picture frames, alcove shelving or a textured wall finish. The flat travertine disc sits close to the wall and acts as a reflector, picking up spill light from the cylinder.
The pairing of pale travertine and dark walnut wood gives the fitting two contrasting natural textures in a small footprint. The 200mm disc keeps the wall presence modest, so a pair or run of three Korvane lights can be installed along a corridor or above a console without crowding the wall. Each travertine backplate carries different veining and pore patterns, so individual pieces vary in appearance. The E27 socket accepts standard screw-fit LED, halogen or filament bulbs (sold separately).

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Korvane has a single E27 (Edison screw) lamp socket. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white LED of 6-9W at 2700K-3000K works well for accent lighting on artwork or wall textures.
Can the head be aimed?
The cylinder is fixed at an outward angle from the travertine disc rather than being a fully adjustable spot. The beam direction is set by the orientation in which the backplate is mounted to the wall, so plan the rotation before fixing.
Does each travertine disc look the same?
No. Travertine is a natural stone, so each backplate carries different pore patterns, veining and tonal variation across the beige surface. This is a feature of the material, not a defect.
Is it suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?
No IP rating is listed for the Korvane, so it should be installed in dry indoor locations only. Avoid bathroom zones, covered porches and any position exposed to moisture.
